Majorcan Germander
Teucrium Cossonii Majoricum
Overview
Majorcan Germander (Teucrium cossonii majoricum) is a fragrant evergreen subshrub reaching 1-2 feet tall with a similar spread. Its silver-green foliage contrasts beautifully against spikes of vibrant purple flowers, which bloom from late spring through summer. Ideal for rock gardens and xeriscaping, it thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, and is drought-tolerant once established. Hardy to USDA Zone 7, it also attracts bees and butterflies.
