African Blue Basil, Ocimum basilicum 'African Blue', is a perennial hybrid basil with a robust growth habit, reaching up to 2-3 feet in height and 1-2 feet in spread. It boasts lush green leaves with purplish veins and a strong, clove-like aroma. This pollinator magnet flowers prolifically with purple-blue inflorescences, adding both culinary and ornamental value. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and is less prone to bolt than other basils.
