Bluewitch

Overview

Bluewitch (Solanum umbelliferum) is a California native perennial with vibrant violet-blue blossoms, and yellow stamens that attract pollinators. Growing 2-3 feet tall and wide, this drought-tolerant shrub thrives in full sun to partial shade. It's suitable for USDA zones 8-10 and blooms profusely in spring. Ideal for xeriscapes, it requires well-draining soil and minimal water once established, making it a low-maintenance addition to any garden.
