The Chilean Potato Vine (Solanum crispum), a vigorous climber, boasts clusters of fragrant purple blooms with yellow centers, blossoming from summer to fall. At maturity, it reaches 20 feet in height and 10 feet in spread, preferring well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Hardy to 20°F, it's a striking choice for trellises or walls.
