Garden Or Common Sage

Overview

Salvia officinalis, commonly known as Garden Sage, is a perennial, evergreen subshrub with woody stems and grayish leaves. Renowned for its aromatic foliage, it reaches about 2 feet in height and spreads up to 2 to 3 feet wide. Sage thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, offering lovely purple blooms in late spring to early summer. It's drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and a favorite in culinary gardens.
