Fragrant Carpet
Pratia Angulata
Overview
Pratia angulata, or Fragrant Carpet, is a low-growing perennial that forms a dense mat up to 2 inches high and spreads around 18-24 inches wide. It thrives in Zones 6-9, preferring partial to full sun. Tiny, star-shaped blue flowers bloom in spring and summer, emitting a subtle fragrance, followed by non-toxic berries. Ideal for groundcover and rock gardens, it requires well-draining soil and moderate watering.
