Fern Pine
Podocarpus Gracilior
Overview
The Fern Pine, or Podocarpus gracilior, is an evergreen with graceful, feathery foliage. Ideal for screens or hedges, it can reach up to 50-70 feet tall and 20-30 feet wide but is often kept smaller through pruning. Prefers full sun to partial shade and adapts to various soils. Offers a refined texture and dense growth, requiring moderate water. Hardy to USDA Zone 9, it tolerates urban conditions well.
