Blue Springs Penstemon
Penstemon 'Blue Springs'
Overview
The Electric Blue Penstemon, or Penstemon 'Blue Springs', is a vibrant perennial revered for its striking, tubular, electric-blue flowers. Blooming mid-spring to early summer, it reaches 18 to 24 inches in height with a 12 to 18-inch spread. Preferring full sun to partial shade, it thrives in well-drained soil. Its hummingbird-attracting blossoms and drought tolerance make it an excellent choice for low-maintenance, water-wise landscapes. USDA zones 4-9.
