Coyote Mint

Overview

Monardella villosa, commonly known as Coyote Mint, is a fragrant, herbaceous perennial native to California. Preferring full sun to part shade, it grows 1 to 2 ft tall with a similar spread. This drought-tolerant plant produces rounded clusters of purple-pink flowers in summer, attracting pollinators. Thriving in well-draining soil, Coyote Mint is suited for low-water landscapes and native plant gardens, offering both ornamental and ecological benefits.
