Mini Angel's Trumpet
Lochroma Australe
Overview
The Mini Angel's Trumpet, or Iochroma australe, is a compact, semi-evergreen shrub reaching heights of 3-5 feet with a spread of 2-4 feet. Known for its tubular, deep blue to lavender flowers that bloom in abundance, it thrives in USDA zones 9-11. Preferring well-drained soil, it performs best in full sun to partial shade. Its moderate growth rate and manageable size make it ideal for smaller gardens or as a container specimen.
