Lavender Varieties
Lavandula Species
Overview
Lavandula, commonly known as Lavender, boasts a diverse range of varieties featuring fragrant foliage and bloom spikes. Ranging in height from 10 inches to 3 feet, they flourish in sunny sites with well-drained soil. Known for their drought tolerance, Lavenders adorn landscapes with shades of purple, blue, and white, blooming from late spring to early autumn. Ideal for borders, herb gardens, and as aromatic ground covers, they attract pollinators and repel deer.
