Overview
French Lavender (Lavandula dentata) is a fragrant perennial prized for its gray-green, serrated foliage and showy, purple flowers. Ideal for borders and aromatic gardens, it reaches 24-36 inches in height with a similar spread. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil; drought-tolerant once established. Blooms from late spring to early fall, attracting bees and butterflies. Zones 8-11. Space plants 12-18 inches apart for optimal growth and air circulation.
