Overview

White Pillar® Rose of Sharon, or Hibiscus syriacus, is a narrow deciduous shrub with green foliage and pure white semi-double summer-to-fall flowers. It matures to about 10-16 feet tall but only 4-5 feet wide, forming a strong vertical accent. Grow it in full sun with well-drained soil and average water; prune in early spring if needed. Its columnar habit suits screens, entries, and large containers. Hardy in USDA Zones 5-9.
