Hakea Obtusa
Overview
Hakea obtusa, an evergreen shrub native to Australia, features thick, blue-green, leathery leaves and produces striking cream to pink, sweetly-scented flowers in spring. Typically reaching 3-6 feet in height, with a similar spread, it's well-suited for xeriscaping. Preferring full sun and well-drained soils, this drought-tolerant plant offers low maintenance and excellent resilience. Its woody seed pods and dense habit provide habitat and food for native wildlife.
