Overview

Gomphrena globosa, or Globe Amaranth, is a vibrant, globe-shaped, everlasting flower with papery blooms ranging from purple to white. Typically growing to about 24 inches tall and spreading 12 inches wide, this drought-resistant annual thrives in full sun. Its dense, clover-like heads are excellent for both fresh-cut and dried floral arrangements. The foliage is lance-shaped and often sprinkled with a magenta hue, adding contrast to midsummer through fall gardens.
