Overview

Eucalyptus rudis, commonly known as Flooded Gum, is a robust, fast-growing Australian native. Tolerant of waterlogged soils, it thrives in full sun, reaching heights of 30-50 feet with a canopy spread of 15-30 feet. Its smooth, gray-brown bark peels away in summer, revealing a fresh layer beneath. Flooded Gum's lanceolate leaves exude a distinctive eucalyptus scent, and its white flowers attract pollinators, enhancing biodiversity in the landscape.
