Overview
The Butterfly Bush, Clerodendrum ugandense, is an enchanting, deciduous shrub reaching up to 10 feet tall. It's celebrated for its vibrant blue and lavender flowers resembling butterflies, which bloom in warm months. Preferring full sun and well-drained soil, this bush thrives in USDA zones 9-11. Its rapid growth and sprawling habit, up to 6 feet wide, make it ideal for accent planting or creating a dynamic, butterfly-attracting focal point in the garden.
