Overview

The Red Cestrum, or Cestrum 'Newellii', is a vibrant shrub with tubular red flowers that bloom profusely in warmer months, attracting hummingbirds. It reaches up to 8 feet high and spreads up to 6 feet. Preferring full sun to part shade, it thrives in well-drained soil. Hardy to 25°F, it's semi-evergreen in frost-free areas. Prune regularly to maintain shape. Space plants 4-5 feet apart for a dense screen or border.
