Amaranthus Caudatus
Overview
The Tassel Flower, Amaranthus caudatus, presents eye-catching, pendant, red or green tassels, reaching up to 18 inches long, that cascade elegantly from its robust frame. This annual thrives in full sun, maturing to 3-5 feet tall and 1-2 feet wide, and is versatile in USDA Zones 2-11. Its dramatic draping blooms add vertical interest to beds and borders, and are equally stunning in cut or dried floral arrangements.
