Overview
The Mohave Yucca, or Yucca schidigera, is a resilient evergreen shrub native to the deserts of the Southwest. It boasts a rosette of rigid, sword-like leaves, up to 4 feet long, and a distinctive vertical growth habit, reaching 5 to 16 feet tall. Spectacular, bell-shaped white or cream flowers bloom in spring on 3-foot panicles, attracting pollinators. Ideal for xeriscaping, it requires minimal water and thrives in full sun with well-draining soil.
