Dwarf Vinca Or Periwinkle
Vinca Minor
Overview
Vinca minor, commonly called Dwarf Periwinkle, is a low-growing evergreen ground cover. It matures to a height of 4-6 inches, with a spread of 18-24 inches. Its glossy, dark green leaves provide a stunning backdrop for prolific spring blooms of lavender-blue flowers. Thriving in zones 4 to 8, it prefers partial to full shade and well-drained soil. Ideal for erosion control, it also resists deer and is drought-tolerant once established.
