Overview
Speedwell (Veronica repens) is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial. Lush, green foliage reaches a height of 1-2 inches, spreading 12-18 inches wide, ideally suited for ground cover or between stepping stones. Small, delicate sky-blue flowers bloom in spring, adding a subtle splash of color. Thriving in USDA zones 6-9, it prefers full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal maintenance.
