Digger's Speedwell
Veronica perfoliata
Overview
Digger's Speedwell (Parahebe perfoliata) is a low-maintenance, evergreen subshrub, reaching heights of 2-3 feet and spreading up to 4 feet wide. Its distinctive grey-green leaves, arranged tightly on stems, accentuate petite, white-to-blue flowers that bloom in early summer. Suited for USDA zones 8-10, it thrives in full sunlight and well-drained soil. Ideal for rock gardens or as a groundcover, it provides year-round interest with minimal care.
