Mexican Tarragon
Tagetes Lucida
Overview
Mexican Tarragon (Tagetes lucida) is an aromatic perennial herb standing 18-30 inches tall, thriving in USDA zones 8-11. Its vibrant yellow flowers bloom late summer to fall, complementing glossy green leaves. Prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant and resistant to pests, it's excellent for borders, culinary gardens, or as a marigold substitute. Aromatic leaves can be used as a tarragon substitute in recipes.
