Trailing Jade
Senecio Jacobsenii
Overview
Trailing Jade (Senecio jacobsenii) is a cascading succulent with fleshy, vibrant green leaves that overlap like shingles on a roof, providing year-round visual interest. This hardy plant thrives with minimal care, requiring bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. It reaches up to 4 feet in length, making it a superb choice for hanging baskets or as a ground cover. Drought-tolerant, it demands watering only when the soil is dry to the touch.
