Madagascar Senecio

Senecio Decaryi

Design with this plant

Overview

The Madagascar Senecio (Senecio decaryi) presents an exotic flair with its silvery-green, velvet-textured leaves. Perfect for xeriscaping, it thrives in well-drained soil and requires minimal water once established. Reaching up to 5-6 feet high, it suits as an accent in warm, dry regions. Shelter from frost is essential. Blooms are yellow disc florets, though infrequent. Full sun to partial shade optimizes growth. Notable for its drought tolerance and architectural form.
