Succulent Bush Senecio

Overview

The Succulent Bush Senecio (Senecio barbertonicus) is an evergreen, shrub-like perennial. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, it boasts cylindrical, lime-green leaves that grow upwards, reaching 2-5 feet in height. It enjoys well-draining soil and is drought-resistant, requiring minimal water. Spring blooms present small, yellow, honey-scented flowers. Hardiness zones 10-11 are ideal; use as a textural accent in xeriscapes or rock gardens. Space them about 18-24 inches apart for optimal growth.
