Overview

The Japanese Umbrella Pine, Sciadopitys verticillata, is a unique conifer prized for its lush, glossy, dark green needles that radiate in whorls resembling umbrella spokes, atop sturdy, upright branches. This slow-growing evergreen can reach 25-30 feet in height and spread 15-20 feet wide in a landscape.
