Prunus virginiana 'Demissa', commonly known as the Western Chokeberry, is a deciduous shrub reaching 6-10 ft in height with a similar spread. It boasts clusters of white flowers in spring, followed by dark red-purple berries in late summer beloved by birds. Foliage turns a striking red-orange in autumn, adding seasonal interest.
