Chilean Mesquite
Prosopis 'Phoenix'
Overview
The Chilean Mesquite (Prosopis 'Phoenix') is a hardy, drought-resistant tree, popular for its picturesque, weeping form and extensive canopy, reaching up to 30 feet tall and wide. Its delicate, fern-like foliage offers dappled shade, and it thrives in full sun with minimal water once established. The tree’s deep root system helps to stabilize soil, making it an excellent choice for sustainable landscapes in zones 7-11.
