Overview

The Portulaca umbraticola 'Red II' is a trailing annual purslane with vivid rose-red flowers and fresh green succulent foliage. It grows 4-8 inches tall and spreads 12-16 inches, blooming from planting to frost. Best in full sun and well-drained average to poor soil, it tolerates heat, humidity, and dry spells with little need for deadheading. Hardy in USDA Zones 10-11.
