Overview
Pistacia atlantica, or Mt Atlas Pistache, is a hardy deciduous tree reaching heights of 25-30 feet with an equal or greater spread. Its deep, extensive root system makes it drought-resistant. The tree features lustrous green, pinnately compound leaves that turn a striking orange-red in fall. Small, inconspicuous flowers precede reddish-brown fruit clusters. Thrives in zones 7-11; prefers full sun and well-drained soils; minimal maintenance required.
