Featherhead

Overview

Phylica pubescens, commonly dubbed Featherhead, is a charming evergreen shrub standing about 3-5 feet tall. Prized for its silvery-green foliage and golden-brown, fluffy flower heads, it blooms from late winter to early spring. This South African native prefers well-drained soil and thrives in full to partial sun. It's drought-tolerant once established, offering a low-maintenance option for water-wise gardens and adding unique texture to landscape designs.
