Virginia Creeper

Overview

Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) is a vigorous deciduous vine, rapidly growing up to 30-50 feet. It flaunts palmate leaves with five leaflets and turns a striking red in fall. Small, inconspicuous green flowers give way to bluish-black berries. Adaptable to various soils, it thrives in full sun to shade. Its suction-cup-like tendrils make it ideal for covering walls or trellises, providing a lush green in summer and vivid red in autumn.
