Overview

Golden Groundsel (Packera aurea) is a North American native perennial ideal for shade gardens. Features heart-shaped, serrated leaves and clusters of small, bright yellow daisy-like flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. Grows 1-2 feet tall with a similar spread. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Hardy in zones 3-8, it's excellent for naturalizing and ground cover. Attracts pollinators while being deer-resistant. Low maintenance and spreads by rhizomes.
