Giant Chinese Miscanthus 'Sentinel' is a stately ornamental grass that brings vertical accents to gardens. Towering at 6-8 feet in height with a 4-5 foot spread, its feathery flower plumes emerge coppery-pink in the fall, turning silvery as they mature. Hardy in zones 5-9, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Low-maintenance, 'Sentinel' provides winter interest and is excellent for screening or as a backdrop for other perennials.
