Macadamia Nut
Macadamia Hybrids
Overview
Macadamia hybrids, renowned for their rich, buttery nuts, thrive best in subtropical climates. These evergreen trees can reach up to 40 feet in height and spread 30 feet wide. Lush, glossy foliage and fragrant blossoms make them attractive landscape additions. They require well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Note: macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs. Nut harvest begins 7-10 years post-planting; optimal production occurs at 10-15 years.
