Western Blue Flax

Overview

Western Blue Flax (Linum perenne) is a perennial with striking, delicate sky-blue flowers on slender stems, reaching heights of 18–24 inches. Drought-tolerant and thriving in full sun, it features narrow, light green foliage, lending an airy texture to borders. Hardy in zones 5-9, this flax's blooms last one day but are profuse from late spring to early summer. It adds a wildflower look, attracting pollinators to the landscape.
