Overview

June Grass (Koeleria macrantha) is a perennial cool-season bunchgrass featuring fine-textured foliage. It typically grows 1-2 feet tall with airy, silver-green inflorescences in early summer. Thriving in USDA Zones 3-9, it prefers full sun and tolerates a range of soil types, though it flourishes in well-drained soils. Ideal for naturalized areas, it's drought-resistant once established, offering low maintenance and excellent ground cover.
