Overview
Kalmia angustifolia, commonly known as Sheep Laurel, is a compact, evergreen shrub native to North American bogs and pine barrens. It reaches a mature height of 2-3 feet with a similar spread. In late spring to early summer, it boasts clusters of vibrant pink flowers. The plant thrives in acidic, well-drained soil and prefers partial shade. Caution: all parts are toxic if ingested.
