Yellow Anise Tree
Illicium Anisatum
Overview
The Yellow Anise Tree (Illicium anisatum) is a prized evergreen for its aromatic leaves and star-shaped yellow blooms. It typically reaches 10-15 feet in height and spreads 6-10 feet. Thriving in partial shade to full sun, this ornamental prefers moist, well-drained soil. Its columnar form and glossy, leathery foliage make it an elegant choice for screens and as a specimen plant. Note: all parts are toxic if ingested.
