Gatsby Gal® Oakleaf hydrangea

Overview

The Hydrangea quercifolia is a compact oakleaf hydrangea with bold lobed foliage, upright white flower panicles, and wine-red fall color. Gatsby Gal® grows about 5-6 feet tall and wide with a rounded, mounded habit. It thrives in part sun to sun, moist well-drained soil, and average water; avoid soggy sites and prune lightly after bloom since it flowers on old wood. Hardy in USDA Zones 5-9.
