Hairy Alumroot
Heuchera Villosa
Overview
Heuchera villosa, commonly known as Hairy Alumroot, is a perennial valued for its mounded foliage and delicate, bell-shaped blooms. Preferring partial shade, it thrives in well-drained soil, reaching 12-18 inches in height and spreading 12-24 inches wide. Its richly colored leaves, ranging from green to maroon, provide a striking textural contrast in garden designs. The plant is hardy, low maintenance, and attracts pollinators while resisting deer.
