Overview

Heuchera sanguinea, or Southwestern Coral Bells, are semi-evergreen perennials boasting delicate, bell-shaped, red flowers rising up to 18 inches tall. They form a lush, low-growing mound of scalloped green foliage up to 12 inches wide. Preferring partial shade and well-drained soil, they excel in zones 4-8. Their vibrant flowers charm hummingbirds and are ideal for border fronts, rock gardens, or woodland settings, offering a splash of color from late spring to early summer.
