Green Carpet
Herniaria Glabra
Overview
Green Carpet (Herniaria glabra) is a robust, low-growing perennial ground cover, reaching heights of 2-3 inches. Valued for its dense, mat-forming habit, it displays tiny, green leaves that create a smooth lawn-like appearance. Tolerant to heavy foot traffic, it's ideal for walkways or garden borders. Thriving in full sun to part shade, this drought-resistant plant prefers well-drained soils and is hardy in USDA zones 6-9.
