The Lenten Rose, Helleborus orientalis, is a perennial favored for its early spring blooms in shades of pink, purple, white, and green. With glossy, evergreen foliage, it thrives in partial to full shade and well-drained soil. It reaches 18-24 inches tall and wide, fitting well in woodland gardens.
