The Woodland Sunflower, Helianthus divaricata, is a perennial native to North America with robust growth up to 6 feet tall. This species thrives in partially-shaded areas, displaying vibrant yellow blooms measuring 2-3 inches across in late summer to fall. Adaptable to a variety of soil types, it spreads by rhizomes, offering a naturalistic look ideal for borders or wildflower gardens. Attracts pollinators while being deer resistant.
