Overview
Hedera helix, commonly known as English Ivy, is a versatile evergreen vine. It thrives in partial to full shade, preferring moist, well-drained soil. Fast-growing, it reaches up to 50 feet long and clings via aerial rootlets. Its lush foliage, rich green leaves with three to five lobes, offers year-round coverage, ideal for ground covers or climbing facades. Space plants 18 to 24 inches apart for dense coverage. Hardy in USDA zones 4 to 9.
