Overview

The Mexican Ebony, or Havardia mexicana, is a drought-tolerant, small to medium-sized tree reaching heights of 15-30 feet with a dense, spreading canopy. It features dark green, glossy foliage and fragrant white flowers that bloom in spring to early summer. This ornamental tree thrives in USDA Zone 8-11, prefers full sun to partial shade, and well-drained soils. It adds year-round interest and is excellent for xeriscaping.
