Overview

Forsythia, or Forsythia x intermedia, is a deciduous upright shrub with vivid yellow flowers that brighten the early spring garden before dark green foliage emerges. It matures about 5-6 feet tall and wide with a tidy, manageable habit. Plant in full sun to part sun, in average, well-drained soil with moderate moisture.
